Should I have both the above? Why does the top one start out as apple as in it states apple copyright but take me to something that is not apple? I have used DetectX which deleted something that it said was mackeeper, but the 2 automators above remain. So this seems the dodgy one, but it does not take me to otto the robot! The icon for this and the above are the same, ie, the robot. When I click on 'info', copyright is not mentioned. When I go to my Mac HD, Library, I can see 'Automator' with lots of things I don't understand listed. ', I am taken to the icon we both have, then when I click on 'open Automator', I can then click on 'display automator website', which takes me to the automator website which then goes on about 'otto the automator' and at the bottom of this page, it states that it is '. Number 1: Automator.app in Applications (not 'Automator'), I click on 'get info' and it definitely states the copyright is Apple. I too can find the above icon with the little robot in it I have an older version, but it still seems the same, copyright Apple etc. You’ll see a variety of different document types you can start with. You could also find it under Other > Automator in Launchpad or Applications > Automator in the Finder. Thank you, but still something seems wrong.
